Happy Thursday! It’s tv doc day and time to raise awareness!

Started my morning with .alvarado.tv with an interview on contagious flu season beginning in Chicago as we head into thanksgiving holiday for ! Catch us at 1130 am cst on Univision chicago!

Then did interview with new segment discussing which home remedies work as we head into viral season and what we can do to keep our families safe! Will share link once available!

Third- headed to with and discussing the latest study linking 2 cigs/day with increased risk of heart disease! Even got to discuss the dangers of va**ng!

All this done before noon with patients in between! Love busy Thursdays! Two more newscasts this afternoon!

The Tree of Gratitude has arrived at the Chicago Allergy Center! It’s a time to give thanks as we approach thanksgiving!

I am so thankful for the gift of being a doctor to so many wonderful patients!

So proud to be part of such an amazing group- Asthma Summit 2025!!! We did some phenomenal brainstorming to try to redefine uncontrolled asthma for healthcare providers and patients and bring more tools to the table!

More to come as we continue to join forces as organizations to help our patients ❤️

Happy Tuesday! So honored to to have been invited to represent National Hispanic Medical Association at the Asthma Summit 2025!

12 national organizations who do alot of advocacy work in the field of Asthma from around the country were invited to come together to brainstorm on how to improve the health of our Asthmatic patients in the US. I love to see organizations that I work very closely with here including American Lung Association, Allergy & Asthma Network , Rush University System for Health, and American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology among others.

Today- I get to be the voice of the Latino community at this table. I get to advocate for access to medical insurance , better drug prices , access to specialists- allergists and pulmonologists and more resources for la comunidad!

So humbled and honored to be part of this conversation! When the doctora has a suit on - she means business 🫶

Proud to be walking in my purpose and love being a voice for those that have no voice ❤️🙏

We love breaking down barriers and having a new option that is needle free nasal epinephrine for our patients with history of anaphylaxis ! Loved this demo at the 2025 conference!

and I had been wanting to do a collaboration forever! So nice we got to work together to raise awareness for all our patients with history of anaphylaxis! Love our allergy community❤️
