Lisa Khvatova is a G4 Advocacy and Burns Fellow. Interested in Global Surgery since her undergraduate at the University of Toronto she went to study Public Health and Health Systems at Johns Hopkins to understand how to improve surgical access on a systems level. She has worked at the Global Surgery Foundation and Johns Hopkins to support medical education accessibility through capacity building in Tanzania and SURGHub. At G4 she is learning how to make systems change through advocacy and policy.
The Chairman’s Challenge is our campaign to showcase the diversity of global surgical efforts. To participate, post a photo wearing your orange G4 Alliance cap, telling us where in the world you are and what you’re doing to support global surgery.
