Thanks to all who listened in on our session at the Wisconsin Director of Nursing Council Symposium!

Together, Dr. Matthew Cowling, DO, FAAPMR, Chief Clinical Officer, and Shelley Sima, RN, RAC-CT, Clinical Director of MDS, presented; Capturing Clinical Complexity: MDS from a Physiatry Perspective.

This session highlighted how a physiatry-driven approach, paired with strong MDS leadership, can more accurately reflect patient acuity, strengthen compliance, and support appropriate reimbursement under PDPM.

We hope all DONs, MDS leaders, and clinical decision-makers who attended the lecture feel more confident about how to make documentation truly match the care being delivered!
