Occasional Medications
⚡ Some mental health medications are occasional medications, taken only when needed for sudden symptoms.
🔹 Examples:
• Benzodiazepines (lorazepam, alprazolam) for anxiety or panic attacks
• Sleep aids (zolpidem) for insomnia
These medications work quickly, but aren’t meant for everyday use. They complement daily medications for a complete mental health plan.

To make an apt: text to 708-710-8819 your DOB, name, email and ph #.

Daily Medications

💊 Daily medications help maintain steady levels of the drug in your body. Many mental health medications work best when taken consistently.
🔹 Examples:
• Antidepressants (sertraline, fluoxetine)
• Mood stabilizers (lithium)
• Antipsychotics (risperidone, olanzapine)
⏱ Why daily? Because of their half-life—the time it takes for the medicine to decrease by half in your body. Missing doses can affect your treatment.

To get an apt: text to 708-710-8819 your DOB, name, email and phone #.
