Hola, soy Alfredo, aunque muchos me conocen como Fello. Nací en México y siempre he sido una persona responsable, trabajadora y comprometida con mi familia, mi comunidad y mi fe.

En los últimos años, mi salud se ha convertido en un desafío constante.

Al inicio de la pandemia, empecé a sentirme muy cansado y, tras varios estudios, me diagnosticaron cirrosis autoinmune. La biopsia necesaria se complicó con una infección grave que puso mi vida en riesgo.

En 2024, sufrí una encefalopatía por un cambio en mi medicación, que me llevó nuevamente a urgencias tras perder coordinación y conciencia.

En 2025, acudí al hospital por retención de líquidos y recibí la noticia de que tenía cáncer de hígado y un aneurisma.

Hoy, después de varios tratamientos, sé que la única forma de salvar mi vida es mediante un trasplante de hígado. Desde finales de 2025 estoy en la lista de espera y busco un donante vivo de hígado.

Compartir mi historia no es fácil, pero lo hago con humildad y esperanza. Todo esto ha sido muy difícil de procesar para mí y mi familia, pero ellos son mi mayor motivación para seguir adelante.

Hello, my name is Alfredo, although many people know me as Fello. I was born in Mexico and have always been a responsible, hardworking person, committed to my family, my community, and my faith.

In recent years, my health has become a constant challenge.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I started feeling very tired, and after several tests, I was diagnosed with autoimmune cirrhosis. The necessary biopsy was complicated by a severe infection that put my life at risk.

In 2024, I suffered an encephalopathy caused by a change in my medication, which brought me back to the emergency room after losing coordination and consciousness.

In 2025, I went to the hospital for fluid retention and received the news that I had liver cancer and an aneurysm.

Today, after several treatments, I know that the only way to save my life is through a liver transplant. Since the end of 2025, I have been on the waiting list and I am looking for a living liver donor.

Sharing my story is not easy, but I do it with humility and hope. This has been very difficult for me and my family to process, but they are my greatest motivation to keep moving forward.
