We had a great time working with the team 🎨

Ryan and Bob recently certified their staff in First Aid, CPR, and AED, helping ensure they’re prepared to respond confidently in an emergency.

The Art Fair on the Square in Madison, Wisconsin, draws nearly 200,000 visitors annually to the downtown area surrounding the Capitol. Held in July, it is the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art’s largest fundraiser, featuring over 500 artists. A smaller, separate event, Art Fair off the Square, also occurs nearby simultaneously.

Beyond certification, we also partnered with their team to fine-tune their internal emergency response processes because being ready isn’t just about skills, it’s about having a plan. 📄

It’s always rewarding to support organizations that prioritize safety for their staff and visitors! 💥

Huge success at Peterson Farms! 🍎👏

Over two days, we had the privilege of certifying 95 employees in Basic First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens through seven training sessions.

It was an incredible experience working with the team at Peterson Farms, North America’s premier fruit processing company, and helping equip their employees with lifesaving skills they can carry with them both on and off the job.

⭐️⭐️ Spotlight ⭐️⭐️

Please help in welcoming retired firefighter/paramedic Ryan Bennett to our team of health and safety instructors. 👏👏

Ryan Bennett brings over two decades of real-world emergency response experience to the Take Action Safety team. Beginning his career as a firefighter/paramedic in 1994, Ryan served communities across the Chicagoland area, gaining invaluable experience in a wide range of departments and environments. Through this work, he developed a deep respect for the diverse cultures and unique needs of the communities he served. In 2017, Ryan sustained a career-ending injury and was granted a disability pension the following year. While he could no longer continue in his role as a firefighter, his commitment to safety, service, and helping others never wavered. Determined to continue making an impact, Ryan found his next chapter with Take Action Safety, where he now shares the knowledge, skills, and insight gained throughout his distinguished career.

Ryan is passionate about delivering safety training in ways that are engaging, practical, and memorable, ensuring that every participant leaves confident and prepared to act when it matters most.

Outside of his professional work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, their four children, and their two dogs. He is an avid guitar player, enjoys reading scripture, and values staying active through regular exercise.

Firefighter/Paramedic Sabastian Koziel from Take Action Safety recently attended Career Day at Safe Achieve Academy in Chicago, IL to share what it’s really like to be a first responder.

From answering emergency calls to saving lives, Sabastian gave students an inside look at the dedication, training and heart it takes to serve the community. 💪❤️

Opportunities like this help young people better understand the firefighter/paramedic career path and inspire future heroes to step up and make a difference.
