Tonight!! Hope to see you there!

Join us Monday night, January 12 at for our monthly Family Support Night. This very special meeting and message is for everybody, but with a focus on how families can experience healing from a loved one’s addiction, compulsive behavior, or other dysfunction.

Here’s how it works. Dinner (pizza for the kids) is served at 6pm and the program starts at 6:30pm. The message will be shared by Michael Felder, a certified drug and alcohol rehab counselor. At around 7:30, we’ll break off into sharing groups (men in recovery, women in recovery, etc) and Michael will be leading a group specifically for Family Support. Everything will wrap up around 8pm. Childcare is provided for those 8 and younger while children 9 and older are invited to stay in the program and support group.

Happy New Year! Join us at Recovery Chickamauga tomorrow night, January 5 to hear our friend Angie Purcell share a powerful message on the Serenity Prayer.

Angie teaches GED at the Walker County prison and probation office to those who have addiction related felonies and has a passion for ministering to people in recovery and corrections. Can’t wait for this!!

Good morning on this post Christmas Sunday! We hope everyone had a blessed day with your families and hope you can join us for our weekly meeting at Recovery Chickamauga Monday night Dec. 29!

Join us to hear Ray Parrish, and the story of his 30 year career battling drugs and alcohol. “I was a dead beat Dad, terrible husband and an untrustworthy friend. But God changed my life and freed me from being a slave to sin. I have hope and I have peace but most importantly, I have a Savior.” Praise Jesus! And we hope to see you tomorrow!!

Hope everyone had a good weekend! Join us at Recovery Chickamauga this evening to hear one of my favorite people Melanie Dennis share about herself and a lesson on Step 4 of the 12 Step Program, Daily Inventory.

The goal is not to shame yourself but to gain self-awareness and emotional clarity to work toward long-term sobriety.

We were so happy to serve at the Youth Summit this weekend at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School (where I first met Jami when we were sophomores) for teens struggling with their mental health and home life. We’re hoping to give them a soft place to land at our family support night every second Tuesday of the month at Recovery Chickamauga. Next one is December 8!

I also gave out candy with my eyes closed .. 🍬 😂
