Today we have lost an incredibly generous and loving person, an amazing advocate, and great friend. Please join us in keeping Tonya's family your thoughts and prayers. When we think of Tonya there are so many memories that bring a smile to our faces even as the tears flow from our eyes. Tonya was always a source of inspiration and energy, especially at times when we felt we had none left, she found it in us and brought it out of us. She saw the best in us and made sure we saw it too. Of all the gifts she gave us we are most thankful for her giving us our friend Jordan. As long as we have Jordan the unbridled spirit that drove her mother will never be far away. We will miss you Tonya. Thank you so much for being a part of our lives and letting your mini me be apart of ours.

I am reminded of a quote by A. A. Milne/Winnie the Pooh: "The most important thing is, even when we’re apart … I’ll always be with you …" There is no question that Tam will always be with us in our memories and our hearts.

Funeral services for Tamala Kay Hart, 58, of Chickasha will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Avery officiating. Tamala Kay Hart, know…

UPDATE TO POST ON MAY 6TH ABOUT FRAUDULENT UNEMPLOYMENT LETTERS:

Another employee received a letter and was able to speak to someone at the OESC. It appears the letters were generated by the OESC (Unemployment Office), however someone was filing for unemployment in their name. If you get a letter and you did not file for unemployment benefits, it is critical you to report it. Otherwise, it could look like you were committing fraud, when in reality it is someone using your identity.

It appears that this is not just a problem related to the Opportunity Center; it is happening across the state and the nation. Hopefully, this is information is helpful. Stay safe.
