Life Choices Chickasha

With temperatures dropping and a winter storm approaching, several Chickasha locations have stepped up to offer warming stations.

• The Chickasha Soup Kitchen is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. when the temperature is 28° or colder, including on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25. The Soup Kitchen is open every weekday for lunch on a normal operating basis.
• Southern Oaks Church of Christ will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from January 24-26 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Life Skills Institute will be open from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. when it is 28° or colder outside. They will open at 5 p.m. if the Soup Kitchen warming station is open.
• Bible Baptist Church will open only if there are power outages. If they open, they will operate 24 hours a day.

Please contact each location individually if you have questions or would like to volunteer.

Literacy Help- I have a young lady who is dyslexic and would love help learning to read. I’ve called around Chickasha and cannot find an organization who helps with this. Is there an individual in Chickasha who has a heart to volunteer to help her. You could use a room at Life Choices to meet with her. Please call us at 405-222-5483. We’re open Monday Tuesday and Thursday 9-5.

We have some more extras at Life Choices. This play tent is like new and collapses flat. It would make a great gift for a toddler. We have several baby bathtubs and Johnny Jump Ups. Free to anyone who needs them. You do not have to be a client. We’re open today until 5:00 , Thursday 9-5:00, next Monday and Tuesday 9-5:00. Closed from Christmas until New Year’s

We will be open again on Thursday 9-5 We found more 2t, 3T and 4t clothes. We will have these clothes out today til 5 and Thursday 9-5. We have lots of baby clothes to give away to anyone who needs them. Come by we would love to meet you!
