Dan Hutfless didn’t have a plan. He didn’t have a checklist. But he had a moment.

Driving past Whole Body Fitness, he thought:
👉 “I’m doing this.”

That decision changed everything.

At 250 pounds, Dan was tired. Unmotivated. Mentally foggy. He didn’t feel like himself anymore. But once he started training with us, it wasn’t just about weight loss anymore.

When your doctor tells you it’s time to make a change, for your heart, blood sugar, joints, or bones, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

👉 Start with a few key steps:

- Walk 10 minutes after meals to help manage blood sugar and digestion
- Keep a food journal (even for 3 days) to become more aware of habits
- Strength training ,even just twice a week, can dramatically improve insulin sensitivity, heart health, and bone and joint strength

🏋️‍♂️ From Fire Captain to Fatigued… then back again.

Joe Flagg was always in peak condition. Cal Fire captain, athletic director, training beside recruits even into his later years. 💪

But after a shoulder injury and a rough case of plantar fasciitis, he hit a wall. By the time he retired, he was in the worst shape of his life.
“I was immobile and sluggish… It was depressing.”

He tried the big-box gym scene but couldn’t stay motivated. It wasn’t until he found Whole Body Fitness that things changed.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: KEN & SHERYL LANGE 🧳🌍✨

Ken and Sheryl love to travel, explore, and stay active with family and friends. But as they put it, “the real world isn’t ADA compliant!”

They realized that walking uneven gravel paths, climbing stairs, and navigating broken sidewalks wouldn’t get easier as they approached their 80s unless they did something about it.

That’s when they found Whole Body Fitness.

Veto Rodriguez’s journey is anything but ordinary!

Before finding his calling in fitness, Veto explored careers in firefighting, architecture, and criminal justice. He’s a former boxing and jujitsu competitor, powerlifter, and lifelong soccer player, but it was learning about posture and alignment that changed everything.

“Once I understood how posture and alignment could prevent injuries and accelerate progress, I knew this was what I was meant to do,” says Veto

Now, as Manager and Head Coach at Whole Body Fitness, Veto combines his deep knowledge of body mechanics, nutrition, and mobility to help our members build real, lasting strength. The kind that shows up in everyday life.
