Meet our employee of the month, Callie Baxter! Callie has been a member of Team Arbor since 2025 and says her favorite thing about her job is seeing the smile on her resident‘s face as they are cared for.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys music, spending time with her kids, and watching a good series to watch!
When asked for her favorite quote, Callie responded with “To do what nobody else will do, in a way that nobody else can, in spite of it all we go through, is to be a nurse.” — Rawsi Williams

Meet Michael Lunsford, our Director of Business Development!

When asked what he enjoys about his work at Arbor, Michael says “I always say, no one plans on Skilled Nursing – one of the best parts of my position is the ability to help patients, families, hospitals, and doctors learn more about Arbor and what we offer our residents. Explaining not only the day and night of SNF, but also how insurance, care, and discharge planning come together.”
Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling as well as reading in the sunshine. His favorite genres include history, fantasy, and historical dramas.
Michael’s favorite word is “Apricity” – that ray of sunshine that warms you in the winter, even when the air is chilly.

Tomorrow our Laundry and Activities departments will be hosting a joint fundraiser to raise funds for the family of Christina, who was involved in a tragic accident last week. Karol will be selling her famous Chicken Salad and our Activities staff will be selling infused energy drinks! All proceeds will go towards Christina‘s family. Please come by and show your support starting at 10AM and running until supplies run out! 💚
