As of today, The AIDS Foundation of Western Massachusetts' office is permanently closed. We would like to thank Valley Opportunity Council, Inc. for being a wonderful landlord and supporter, as well as all of the volunteers who made the office a welcoming, safe space for anyone in need of it. Though there are a number of local service organizations that can provide help to those living with HIV/AIDS in our area, upon its dissolution, The Foundation will be giving the remainder of its emergency financial assistance funds to A Positive Place in Northampton. There are only two days left to submit applications for emergency financial assistance. Please be sure to get any requests in by 5:00 on Friday. We want to help as many people as we can in our last week!

Emergency assistance helps provide life’s basic necessities: medical expenses, rent, utilities, household appliances such as a stove so that families can cook hot meals, and items as simple as a bed to prevent the difficult reality of having to sleep on the floor night after night. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND SHARE: This is the last week that AFWM will be accepting applications for emergency financial assistance.

- applications must be submitted by 5:00pm on Friday, September 8th to be considered
- unfortunately no incomplete applications will be accepted at this time and there is no time to resubmit, so please be sure that what is submitted is thorough
- if you need help with an application, please contact jess@aidsfoundationwm.org

We're thrilled to announce that AFWM will be able to assist local children who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS with the chance to attend camp again this year... and that the amount that we are able to provide has increased! Camperships are awarded on a first come, first served basis, so click through for more information today.

Camperships are available to youth who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. Camp can provide support, leisure, camaraderie, and the opportunity to spend time away from the difficult realities of living with HIV/AIDS.
