The Mental Health Association is a nonprofit provider of residential and recovery support services. The Mental Health Association, Inc.

We conceptualize a community where all individuals have the skills and opportunities to achieve their aspirations. Our aim is to create an atmosphere where dignity, respect and equality are commonplace, where all individuals can reach their maximum potential. Through flexibility, continuous self-examination and knowledge of current and effective practices, MHA will remain on the cutting edge of service delivery. For those areas of an individual’s life that can be improved, MHA will seek to do so. For those areas in which answers are yet to come, MHA will bring hope.

November 20th is , an annual observance that honors the memory of transgender individuals whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. This day calls for a continuation of raising awareness for equal rights and protections for transgender people and calls for an end to discrimination and hate. ⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

MHA is a proud supporter of the transgender and LGBTQIA+ community. We will continue to stand up against hatred and violence towards transgender individuals, the LGBTQIA+ community and people of all races and ethnicities.

Mike, also known as Mike “The Music Man”, has been a resident of our Integration & Community Living for over 5 years. Mike shares his love for music by singing and playing the drums at our annual talent show and golf tournament. It’s people like Mike that make our work so inspiring.
