Shoutout to our first two platelet donors 🩸

Why donate platelets?

‼️Platelets are absolutely critical for patients fighting cancer, facing traumatic injuries, undergoing heart and organ surgeries, and those receiving bone marrow or organ transplants.

‼️ Platelets have the shortest shelf life of just 5-7 days.

‼️ Right now there is a severe shortage and we’re not collecting enough to meet the needs of our hospitals.

CASA gets $15 for every person that uses the donable link to schedule their appointment to donate AND $100 for every first time donor!

All first time donors at our April blood drive will be entered to win our regular door prizes but they’ll also get entered to win a CASA Bluetooth speaker!

A BIG thank you to our community and blood drive volunteers today. Childress community received an award for being ranked #4 in our area for community blood drives.

And shoutout to Childress Regional Medical Center for receiving 2 awards last night as well!!

We couldn’t do this without all the support and regular donors! We appreciate all of you!
Next year we’re gunning for that #1 spot!!
