Fox Clinic Closed Sunday, 1/25/2026

Due to snow accumulations, Fox Clinic will be closed today. NO SUNDAY walk-in CLINIC.

We are actively working on our entrances and parking lots. If you need to come to the hospital before they are cleared, please use a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

WARMING SHELTER AVAILABLE

With winter weather on the way, the Fair Park City Auditorium, 100 Fair Park Dr., will open at noon Friday, Jan. 23 as a warming shelter.

"Please check in with your friends, family and neighbors who may need assistance and have trouble getting assistance," Childress Police Chief Jerrald Johnson said. "Remember, we work better together as a community; it makes us all stronger. Stay safe and warm."

Travel is not recommended. For transportation assistance to the warming shelter, contact Jimmy Willis, 940-585-7959.

"Anyone needing shelter is welcome," the City of Childress said.

Additionally, the City of Childress reminds residents to call 2-1-1 for disaster assistance resources.

"With winter weather on the horizon, we wish you all warmth in the upcoming days and encourage preparedness," the City of Childress said. "We want to remind our community that help is a phone call away.
