General Greenhouse/Garden Production
Customer Service/Retail Sales
I am looking for one or two people willing to work with me and for me on a seasonal part-time basis, February - May, September-October. Flexible schedule, hourly wage paid bi-weekly. Some 40+ hour weeks with overtime in May.

GENERAL GREENHOUSE/GARDEN PRODUCTION LABOR
General plant knowledge. Appreciation for plants and gardening and basic plant knowledge is desirable, but not required.
This is a physical job. Extended standing, walking, or sitting (2 hours) may be required.
o physical activities may require considerable use of your arms, legs, and hands
o moving your whole body, such as lifting, bending, reaching, walking, pushing and pulling carts and handling and sorting of materials.
o lift 10-20 lbs. repetitively, 25-50 lbs. occasionally.
o tolerate hot and humid conditions in the greenhouse and various weather conditions outside.
Operate and maintain greenhouse equipment and machinery
Use hand tools for planting, pruning, and harvesting
Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and organizing the greenhouse
CUSTOMER SERVICE/RETAIL SALES CLERK
General plant knowledge. Appreciation for plants and gardening and basic plant knowledge is desirable, but not required.

Assist customers with plant selection
Answer plant questions related to identification, care and availability
Research plant questions as needed
Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones
Assist with phones, cash register, writing orders
o Operate on-line sales register
o Handle cash transactions
Assist in other store duties such as cleaning projects, pricing, etc.
