Here we are with another sweet 80s model, Hannah Uhrig! Hannah is another of our 4 amazing veterinary technicians! She is our loud, outgoing, super-fun, tell-it-to-you-straight, true-to-herself tech, and we love her so much!!! Hannah keeps things fun, and knows how to make you laugh!!!
Hannah’s hobbies include drawing, taking naps, and spending time with her son, Dorian. Her favorite memories are listening to Dorian’s little voice when he was little. 🥰 He used to sing his Thanksgiving songs, and would also sing Ozzy Osbourne loud and proud!
Hannah also loves snuggling her pets- Tikka, a spoiled canine companion, and Sparrow, the best kitty. When not working, you can regularly find Hannah and Dorian in the kitchen together, cooking up a delicious meal, or snuggled up on the couch with one of the pets watching her favorite movie, Forrest Gump!
As much as Hannah loves the outdoors, during the warmer months she has to be careful- she’s highly allergic to bee stings!!! 🐝
Let’s get to know Hannah even better… Her favorite place to eat out is Los Mariachis, but her favorite food is whatever we’re having at the cookout! It makes sense that she prefers salty over sweet! Like Maddie, Hannah’s favorite place to shop is Amazon! She loves her coffee, and would much rather be up at the crack of dawn, before the world is awake!
Hannah’s favorite season is Fall. She loves the crisp air, making it the perfect hoodie weather. For Hannah, there’s nothing like watching the leaves change color on the hillsides, or listening to the sound of leaves crunching as you walk. It’s perfect for snuggling up with a blanket and her favorite book, Black Dagger Brotherhood. The weather of this season also makes it perfect for her favorite holiday, Halloween! 👻🎃
A few other fun facts about Hannah…. Her favorite color is green. She loves the scents of sandalwood and amber, and her favorite sport is baseball. ⚾️ It’s tough to pick one favorite, so she enjoys watching ALL of the Ohio Teams! Hannah’s ideal vacation would be a getaway to the glorious land of Scotland.
Hannah has always had a love for animals, science, and medicine. What better way to combine these than to become a Registered Veterinary Technician?!?! She loves getting to save pets on a daily basis. It is especially rewarding to see pets get to go home after a surgery or following a period of hospitalization, and it’s priceless seeing each pet’s reaction to seeing their family before going home!
When it comes to getting things done, Hannah is your girl! You can always count on her to be hands-on in taking care of our patients! She is very detail oriented, and this is a crucial skill to being a successful RVT! We love Hannah and all of her bubbliness, and we are so thankful that she is a part of our Chillicothe Animal Clinic family! Love you, Hannie!

Take me back to the 90s!!! Just kidding about going… but, something great happened then. The world was blessed with Madisen Ayres! She is another of our amazing veterinary technicians!
When not working, you can find Maddie watching her son, 5 1/2 year old Kainan, playing football! Maddie said that her all-time favorite memory was when she saw Kainan for the first time. 🥰 There truly is nothing like a mother’s love!
Maddie has a love for all animals, but German Shepherds hold a special place in her heart. I suppose this has something to do with her own fur baby, GSD Brody. Maddie also has 1 cat at home, whose name is Mila.
Maddie has a ton of favorites, including eating at Mister Sub or Chipotle. Her preferred meals are pasta or chicken wings! When given the choice, Maddie prefers to do all of her shopping online through Amazon! You can bet she scores the good prime day deals since she is an early bird; it’s no doubt she prefers coffee over tea! Maddie prefers watching movies over reading any day, and her favorite movies are 7 pounds and Sinners.
Maddie’s favorite season is Autumn and all the wonderful that comes with it, especially Halloween! Maddie’s favorite scents include vanilla and coconut, and her favorite color- pink!!! Don’t let her fool you though- she is a football fan who loves her Bengals! WHO DEY!
In her downtime, Maddie enjoys to relax, which makes sense that her ideal vacation is a cabin getaway up in the mountains. She likes going for walks, and most importantly, she loves spending time with her friends and family. Her hobbies include cleaning and organizing, and this is a very helpful trait to have at work and in life!

Maddie decided to become a Registered Veterinary Technician because of her underlying love for animals. She loves the direct, daily contact that she has with the animals, and the fact that every day and every case is different. Maddie said that the most rewarding part of her job is getting to see positive outcomes after a long-term treatment or hospitalization, as well as seeing successful surgeries.
Maddie is a positive force to be around! We absolutely love working with her, and we are so glad that she is a part of the Chillicothe Animal Clinic family! Love you, Mads!!!

This is Amy Compher; she is a classic 80s model and is one of our amazing registered veterinary technicians. She is happily married to her husband Rob of 5 years. Amy is mother to Hannah Grace, a junior at paint Valley high school.
Amy has 2 dogs at home- the best Labrador Retriever ever, whose name is Buster Brown, a Bull-Schitz named Mia. Being the clinic’s Goat Guru, and having a hobby of raising Pygmy goats, I bet it isn’t surprising that Amy has several goats at home: Brutus, Buckeye, Kevin, Reese, Chonk, Alice, Blondie, Dena, Cassidy, and Gia.
Some of Amy’s favorites include eating out at Los Mariachis or Texas Roadhouse, although seafood is her favorite! She loves shopping at jewelry stores, hates reading books, and loves a good movie, especially Jurassic Park! Amy’s favorite season is summer, so you can bet her favorite holiday is July 4th! Sadly though, she is allergic to melon. 🙁 She prefers tea over coffee, is an early bird, and loves football! Go Buckeyes!!!
Amy prefers sweet over salty, her favorite color is blue, and of all the scents of the world, she most loves the smell of lilacs and beach air! Her ALL-TIME favorite memory was spending summers in Florida with her family when she was growing up. Her ideal vacation would be to go to the beach and never return!
Amy decided to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in order to help be the voice for animals who cannot speak for themselves. Amy said that the most rewarding part of her job is getting to see pets go home to be with their family following a serious injury or illness.
Amy is such a wonderful person to work with, and we are so blessed to have her here at Chillicothe Animal Clinic! We love you, Amy!

Independence Day is THIS Friday- July 4th!

Please be sure to call now to refill your pets anxiety medication- do NOT wait until the last minute!

The safest thing to do is keep your pets inside, as far away from fireworks as possible. Keep in mind that the noise from fireworks travels and can still be heard from quite a distance. If your pet suffers from firework anxiety, please keep them indoors, ideally away from doors and windows. Provide soothing sounds using a radio or TV. Make sure that they have plenty of their favorite things to occupy them. And most importantly, because accidents DO still happen, be sure your pet is wearing his/her proper identification (collar/tags/etc.). July 4th ranks with one of the highest rates of pet reported missing. Pets will run off when frightened.

Please take all precautions to ensure your pets safety! We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday!

ATTENTION CLIENTS:

If you have an appointment today, please be careful.
