Not Roweton Alternative Education Campus

Not Roweton Alternative Education Campus Roweton, located in Ross County, is an alternative school serving at risk youth and students who have the ability, but cannot cope in a regular classroom.

The Roweton Alternative Education Campus: Roweton Site is a uniquely designed educational/mental health setting for students (grades 6-12) who have not been successful in a traditional school setting. Circumstances such as truancy, legal involvement and academic issues can prove difficult for districts, students and families. The Roweton Site provides in-school and home based supports so that students can achieve their academic goals, and so much more. At the Site, we utilize the Virtual Learning Academy on-line curriculum for our students, through their home school district. This enables students to not only learn materials necessary, but also to build computer skills which will enable them to function in today's technological society. Through a collaborative partnership with the seven local school districts, Ross County Juvenile Court, Ross County Job & Family Services and Integrated Services of Appalachian Ohio, we are able to create a tailored goal for success for each individual student. Unfortunately Roweton will not be in session for the remainder of the week. We did try but with staffing shortages due to illness we were not able to make it happen. If you’d like to get some work done in the meantime message us a time and a number you could be reached at to do so.

We’ve been quiet for a while. Not really any updates. We continue to do our best to maintain a safe environment and hopefully make a difference in some lives.

We’ve been having trouble reaching some students in relation to getting lessons completed. If you see this post and need help with lessons please message us with a time and a number where you could be contacted. Many of you worked harder than you had for most of your lives and we’d hate for that to go to waste.

I’m sure many of you are wondering how we are going to get anything done during this time. I know some of you have been contacted by Roweton to see what you need. Hopefully you have internet access. Feel free to give us a call for help with any work you have to complete. Hopefully your schools will be a little lenient when it comes to grading. If you need a computer I believe you are still allowed to check one out at Roweton. We’ve talked about having to live in the system as it stands... well this is now our reality. Let’s do our best to not fall farther behind. We’ve said it before, if you want to get your work done, then you will. But there needs to be some effort on your end. You can message any questions you have here.
