Everyone’s about to be raking their leaves…
and it reminded me of one of the biggest lessons ever learned in my weight loss journey.
For years, I treated dieting like raking and burning leaves —
I’d set aside time, go hard, clean things up, and then go back to living my life.
But you don’t live your life raking leaves.
That was my mistake — I confused taking care of my body with being on a diet.
Dieting is meant to accomplish a result —
🔹 a wedding
🔹 a vacation
🔹 a goal
But taking care of your body?
That’s forever.
You diet for a season…
but you live by training 4–5x per week, fueling your body, and staying consistent.
The diet gets you there.
The lifestyle keeps you there.
So as everyone’s out raking their leaves this fall —
remember:
you don’t need to keep starting over.
You just need to keep taking care of yourself. 🍂🔥
