🧡 Internal Holiday Food Drive 🧡

The holidays are a time for giving — and we’re coming together as a team to help those in need! From November 4th through November 24th, we’re collecting nonperishable food items for our Internal Food Drive.

If you’d like to donate, please drop off your items with Sam in HR.
If you or someone you know within our facility could benefit from this drive, there’s a confidential sign-up sheet near the time clock.

Homemade Doughnut Day!

Today in Activities, our residents rolled up their sleeves and made homemade doughnuts! From shaking up the cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar mixes to enjoying the sweet results, everyone had a fantastic time.

The best part? The wonderful conversation that followed — reminiscing about baking in their own kitchens and sharing memories of their favorite dishes to make and serve.

Moments like these remind us that it’s not just about the treats — it’s about the laughter, stories, and connections that make our community feel like home.

Halloween Fun at The Arc in Chillicothe!
We had such a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween this year! Everyone did an amazing job dressing up for our residents — the creativity was outstanding!

2nd Place – Liz-SSA/Transportation
3rd Place- Dona-Receptionist

Congratulations to Josette, CNA who won the M&M guessing game! There were 749 M&Ms in the container, and her guess of 777 was the closest. Great job!

A Special Thank You to Cheryl from Spoon River Home Health!

We were so happy to have Cheryl visit and share her time and talents with our residents. Everyone had such a great time creating their own beautiful door signs — just look at those smiles!

Orange, Purple, and Black Dress-Up Day!

Thursday was all about Halloween colors! Our staff and residents joined in the fun by dressing up in orange, purple, and black.
A big congratulations to Missy, our Activity Director, for winning the day’s contest!
All week long, our daily winners received a special box of Halloween goodies — a spooktacular treat for their creativity and spirit!

Blackout Wednesday Fun!

Today we celebrated Blackout Wednesday, and congratulations to Kim from Dietary — our big winner!

It’s been such a fun week watching both staff and residents get into the Halloween spirit with their creative and spooky outfits.

We’re getting ready for Halloween and would love for you to bring your children to our facility for trick-or-treating!

Our residents can’t wait to hand out candy and see all the adorable costumes!

👢 Tuesday was Boo-Tiful Boots Day! 👢

What a fun day it was! The morning kicked off with Missy (Activity Director), Sam (Human Resources), and Kim (Infection Prevention Nurse) dancing for the residents to “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.” The residents joined in with clapping, stomping their feet, and lots of smiles!

Country music filled the air all day in the dining room, making it a boot-scootin’ good time for everyone! Congratulations to Takese for winning Best Boots!

Sweet Treats for Our First Responders!

Today, The Arc at Chillicothe had the pleasure of dropping off Crumbl Cookies to our amazing first responders in Chillicothe! While we missed getting a photo with the police officers (they were out keeping our community safe), we were able to catch a couple of our brave firemen for a quick picture.

We’re so thankful for all that our local police and fire departments do each day, your dedication and service never go unnoticed!

Dress Up Week Fun!

Monday kicked off our Dress Up Week, and we’re celebrating every day until Halloween! Our staff is dressing up to bring smiles and fun to our residents, and they get to vote for their favorite look each day.

Congratulations to Liz, who won Monday’s theme with her Pajama Day/Spooky Socks outfit! A big thank-you to all the staff who participated and to our residents for voting. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

Sip & Paint Fun!

Today’s Sip & Paint was extra special — we had even more participants than usual, and everyone had such a great time!

We painted these beautiful sunflowers, each one as bright and unique as the friends who created them.

Spooktacular Fun at The Arc!

What a spooktacular night we had at The Arc at Chillicothe for our Spooky Pet Parade!

This year’s event was a howling success with 19 pets participating! Residents, families, and community members loved seeing all the adorable dogs — and even a rabbit and a hamster joined the fun!

A huge thank-you to Sam and Missy for organizing this fantastic annual event, and to our three resident judges who helped make the evening extra special.

We’re already counting down the days until next year’s Spooky Pet Parade!
