A courteous notice to all patrons who acquired art from the Pump House during Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, your artwork is now available for collection. You may collect it at the Pump House during their regular operating hours: Monday - closed,
Tuesday and Wednesday 11am-4pm,
Thursday and Friday 11am-6pm,
Saturday 11am-4pm, and Sunday 1pm-4pm.

Today may be the last day of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, but inclusion doesnβt end when the month does.
All year long, letβs continue to color our world with inclusion, kindness, and acceptance. Because at the end of the day, weβre all basically unicorns- our differences are what make us wonderfully unique. π¦πβ¨

Artwork purchased during the DD Awareness Month Show needs to be picked up at the Pump House by Wednesday, April 1st. After April 1st, you will have to pick it up at the Pioneer School.
Hours Tuesday, March 31, 11 - 4 and Wednesday, April 1, 11 - 4.

We had a special guest read to us today for Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Our very own Mayor Luke Feeney! Thank you for spending time with our Pre-K class reading such a fun book, I'm Basically A Unicorn.

Our Philosophy
The mission of the Ross County Board of DD is promoted through the following principles:
The Board recognizes that all individuals desire and deserve the opportunity to make decisions about their lives.
Person-centered planning is a process they enables people with developmental disabilities and their families to communicate their wants and needs to us so that the Board can arrange the supports they need for a quality life.
Service coordination is a process of assisting individuals and their families to identify and acquire the appropriate service and supports they choose for themselves within the resources available.
The dignity and self-worth of each individual shall be respected.
Service and supports shall be personalized and age appropriate.
Services for individuals with developmental disabilities should be close to their homes and families.
