Due to the National Weather Service’s Blizzard Warning, heavy snow and dangerous travel conditions, Ascension Wisconsin is adjusting operations in the Fox Valley on March 16 to help keep patients and associates safe.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are delaying the opening of our Ascension urgent care centers and Ascension Medical Group’s physician offices in the Fox Valley until noon on Monday. We will reevaluate Monday morning as conditions evolve.
Patients with scheduled onsite physician office appointments that are affected will be contacted directly to reschedule at the earliest available opportunity. Patients with virtual appointments on Monday will remain as scheduled.
Our hospital and emergency department at Ascension Calumet will remain open and prepared to care for anyone in need of urgent or emergent services. We continue to monitor weather conditions closely and are coordinating with local emergency officials to ensure safe and reliable access to essential care.
We appreciate the community’s understanding as we take these steps to support the safety of our patients and caregivers.
