Its that time the year to mark your calendars for our 3rd Annual Fundraiser! Come join us on September 20th, 2025 for a family fun day. Meet our retired horses, along with alpacas, and many other animals. Join us for hamburgers, Johnsonville brats, and other food. Live music by The Bobby Allen show, and so much more! Keep checking back for more updates on activities!

Today we said see you later to Guthrie 😞 No more pain, running free and enjoying the green pastures at the bridge. You had a great life with us, so kind to everyone you met. Thank you for being such a good friend to Postman, he misses you already, and so do we. You were the most gentle horse, nothing ever bothered you. Always in our hearts Guthrie…until next time buddy ❤️

18 years ago Desi you came into our sanctuary at the age of 14, only being told you probably wouldn't live for only just a few years more, you fooled everyone, including us to spend 18 years with us. You were such a gentle soul, so kind to anyone that met you, and you were the most heroic horse. No more pain buddy, forever running the green pastures at the bridge. Until next time Desi, rest easy we got Ruby in our care and we'll take over your brotherly love and guidance of her from here. Love you Desi always in our hearts ♥️

A hole has been left in our hearts tonight, John John you were our comical, problem child and always testing my patience, but you were sooo loved. We miss you already, it will not be the same without you in the barn seeing how many times you could get yelled at just to make your day ❤️ say hey to the herd, run free…and as always never goodbye just until next time…love you John John ❤️

Good morning everyone! Thank you so much to everyone that came out yesterday to our fundraiser! Looked like everyone was enjoying the day with our residents! My apologies if I wasn’t able to talk to you or our conversation was cut short, it was a busy day!
A special thank you again to Dawn Hartley for putting together a great fundraiser again this year! Job well done!
Thank you to all the volunteers that help with food stands, games and raffles!
Thank you to Bobby Gleason for putting on an amazing show!
Thank you to Joe the camel for being here and showing off you dancing talents 😊
Thank you to Michele J and Derek for the amazing pulled pork and cupcakes! And for getting the replica cars for display!
Thank you to Bill and Michelle P, Derek P, Jr P, and April H for all your hard work getting the sanctuary ready for the big day!
Thank you to my hubby Bruce, daughter Brooke and her boyfriend Ashtyn for all your help with everything!
And a huge thank you to you our supporters! Without you we wouldn’t have had a great turnout, thank you for your support of our mission to give these equine a final home ❤️

Huge shout out to Derek Pingel for making all these slow feeders for the horses! They love them and so do we! Less waste and slowing down their eating. Thank you so much Derek for all your help you have no idea how much it’s appreciated!

We’re just a month away from our 2nd annual fundraiser! We have a few updates! The replica car from Smokey and the Bandit will be joining the display of cars! Also with the amazing pulled pork there will be sides of home made Mac and cheese and Cole slaw!
We will also have an ATM on the grounds for the day. Spend a family day with us and our residents at the sanctuary. Raffles, bake sale, lots of food, kids games, dunk tank, replica cars and visiting with the residents. Plus enjoy live music from the Bobby Allen show! Come and see Joe the Camel he will be here for a couple of hours. So much to do and see!! See you all next month!!
