Today on International Women's Day, I'm thinking about the women I've worked with over 25+ years. Women who've carried impossible loads while being told they should handle it all with grace.
Women navigating military life while holding their families together through deployments. Mothers of neurodiverse children who've been told they're "too much" when they advocate fiercely. Women whose bodies remember trauma their minds have tried to forget.
Here's what I know: Women's healing doesn't fit into neat boxes or prescribed timelines. The pressure to be "healed" by a certain point becomes another burden to carry.
In our work together, there's no timeline. We honor where you are right now, the complexity and contradictions, the days you feel strong and the days you don't.
Your healing journey deserves to unfold at its own pace. You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to be further along than you are. 🌊
