Congratulations to our Shining Star of the Month for March, Elizabeth Woolever! 🤩

Elizabeth joined our LHMC family about 8 months ago, and we are so thankful she is part of our Life Enrichment Team. She is hardworking, a calming presence, and a caring helper. She brings kindness and positivity into our facility each day.

When asked why she loves working at Lake Hallie Memory Care, Elizabeth shared: “I love all of our amazing residents!” ❤️

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys watching anime with her wonderful boyfriend, drawing, playing video games, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

She also graduated last December with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology — what an amazing accomplishment! 👩‍🎓

Elizabeth, thank you for the care, compassion, and joy you bring to our residents and team every single day. We appreciate you more than you know! Way to go! 👏

We are excited to begin planning our next LHMC Resident Choir concert with Melodies & Memories — and this time, we want to make it extra special.

For our upcoming performance, we are hoping to host a “Dedication Concert.” The heart behind this idea is to fill the room with songs that hold meaningful memories for our residents and their loved ones.

We would love your help!

We are inviting families and friends to recommend songs in honor of your loved one. Maybe it’s:

• A favorite love song that was played at their wedding
• A song they used to sing to their children
• A church hymn that meant so much to them
• A tune they always turned up on the radio
• A song that simply brings back sweet memories

Because we are a memory care community, it can sometimes be difficult for residents to recall specific songs on their own — and that’s where you come in. You know their story. You know their music. And we would love to include it.

Lake Hallie Memory Care, LLC planned such a beautiful event in February and I had the honor of photographing their residents. Everyone was glowing and beaming with joy!!! What an experience. I’m excited to continue this trend at local facilities.

I was we’ve contacted by a facility in Illinois! Unfortunately that is too far away!

The world needs more of this!!

I’ll just put this out there…if anyone (elderly/dementia or other) would be interested in coming to the studio (or host an event at your facility or the senior center…let’s chat)

I absolutely LOVED doing this and I am blown away at the results!!
