Independent Outlook Inc. There are up to four clients residing in each home and require minimal to full assistance with their daily living skills.

Independent Outlook is made up of three Adult Family Homes where we provide cares and services in a home like setting for individuals of advanced age, persons with dementia, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, alcohol and other drug abuse, and/or the terminally ill. Full-Time Awake NOC Shift 9pm-7am

-Set Bi-Weekly Schedule:
Wk 1: Mon/Tue/Fr/Sat (40 hrs)
Wk 2: Sun/Wed/Thur (30 hrs)
-Single staffed 9pm-6am; double staffed 6am-7am
-Additional hours available as desired but not required/mandated

Work in an AFH with 3 male residents
-1 verbal wheelchair bound resident
-2 non-verbal partially ambulatory residents
-all residents require assistance with full cares
-minimal behavioral concerns

Shift Responsibilities:
-Deep cleaning the home
-Cooking meals for the next day
-Hourly room checks
-Toileting 2 residents every 2 hours
-1 med pass (training provided)
-Provide residents assistance as needed
-Assist 1 resident with a shower in the morning during double staffed time

We currently have two part-time evening caregiver opportunities:

1. Work from 4pm-9pm every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday - get weekends off! 15 Hours each week.
2. Work from 5pm-10pm on a set bi-weekly rotation; work Mon/Tue, off Wed/Thur, work Fr/Sa/Su, off Mon/Tue, work Wed/Thu, off Fr/Sa/Sun, etc. 15 hours one week and 20 hours the next; average of 17.5 hours per week.

These positions are in a home with four adult male residents who require partial to full assistance with cares. There are always 2 caregivers working during this shift. We highly encourage fun in-home activities and provide any necessary materials for this; crafts, bean bag toss, basketball, etc.

There are three options for regularly scheduled work days: #1) a set bi-weekly schedule; work Mon/Tue, off Wed/Thur, work Fri/Sat/Sun, off Mon/Tue, work Wed/Thur, off Fri/Sat/Sun, etc. This is a total of 15 hours one week and 20 hours the next; 35 hours bi-weekly. #2) work every weekday Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur. This is a total of 20 hours each week. #3) work every weekend Fri/Sat/Sun. This is a total of 15 hours each week.

Additional hours are available if you have a flexible schedule and able to assist with covering open hours.

The position is in an Adult Family Home with four male residents. Three of the residents are non-verbal and one is verbal. Primary diagnosis is Intellectual Disability and Traumatic Brain Injury. Residents require full assistance with all cares including but not limited to bathing, toileting, incontinence care, dressing, and assistance with meals/snacks. During the shift, there would be a total of 2 staff on duty. The position is responsible for passing medications (training provided), providing assistance with supper/snacks, assisting with cares/toileting/incontinence care, assist with getting residents into pajamas and into bed for the night. One resident regularly showers during the evenings and requires full assistance with this. We encourage in-home activities and provide supplies to complete them as requested. One resident may exhibit minor physical aggression in the form of swatting, pinching, forcefully pulling staff throughout the home.

Additional hours are available if you have a flexible schedule and able to assist with covering open hours.

The position is in an Adult Family Home with four residents; 4 males. Three of the residents are non-verbal and one is verbal. Primary diagnosis is Intellectual Disability and TBI. Residents require full assistance with all cares including but not limited to bathing, toileting, incontinence care, dressing, and assistance with meals/snacks. During the shift, there would be a total of 2 staff on duty from 9pm-10pm, single staffed from 10pm-6am, and 2 staff on duty from 6am-7am. The position is responsible for deep cleaning the home, cooking meals for the next day, performing hourly room checks, assisting 2 residents with toileting during the night (on toileting schedules), passing one medication during the night, and providing assistance as needed when residents are restless and not sleeping well. Residents typically sleep well but may have nights periodically where they are unable to sleep. One resident may exhibit minor physical aggression in the form of swatting, pinching, forcefully pulling staff throughout the home.

Full-time second shift position available working from 11am-9pm. The position runs on a set bi-weekly schedule; work Mon/Tue, off Wed/Thur, work Fri/Sat/Sun, off Mon/Tue, work Wed/Thur, off Fri/Sat/Sun, etc. This is a total of 30 hours one week and 40 hours the next; 70 hours bi-weekly. Additional hours are available if you have a flexible schedule, able to assist with covering open hours, and willing to cross-train and work at our other 2 homes.

We also pay shift and weekend differentials, earning up to an additional 17% of your base wage when working this position.

Work in an Adult Family Home with four residents; 3 males and 1 female. Primary diagnosis is Autism, Rett Syndrome, and Traumatic Brain Injury. Residents require minimal to full assistance with all cares including but not limited to bathing, toileting, incontinence care, and dressing. Three of the four residents are verbal and one resident is nonverbal. The residents enjoy being busy, participating in outings and in-home activities, and being actively engaged.

The position is responsible for passing medications (training provided), providing assistance with meals/snacks, assisting with cares/toileting/incontinence care, assist with getting residents into pajamas and into bed for the night.

A valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of a clean driving record is highly preferred for this position.
