Short stay/Rehab, Long term placement, Respite and Hospice care Welcome! We offer rehab as well as respite stays.

We are the Teton Nursing Home, located in beautiful downtown Choteau, MT. We are a 40 Bed licensed Extended Care facility, open 24/7, 365 days a year. We are here to care for your loved ones, whether it be on a short or long term basis. We have licensed nurses and Certified Nurses Aides on around the clock. We work with local provider Caralynn Moore FNP, Tim Sinton PA-C of Great Falls Clinic, as well as the providers from Benefis TMC. Our Medical Director is Dr. Engbrecht of Great Falls Clinic. We have volunteers, daily activities, beauty shop, pet visits and much more. We also have great opportunities for employment. Feel free to stop in for a tour or just to visit anytime!

It has been 1 year since our facility closed. I don't know about the others, but it still makes me sad. When I come through Choteau from Conrad, I hate to see our building sitting there empty. It kills me to know that BTMC is not and has not been taking admits for quite sometime. Meaning, Teton County residents are not only having to leave their home, but their community and county behind. I miss our staff and the fun times with our residents! I sincerely hope you all are doing well and know that I think of you all daily! Thank you again for all of the hard work and dedication you put in at TNH!

Our 60 days came to an end on Wednesday May 25, 2016. This was a hard day for all. Our facility has permanently closed. Once again we would like to take the time to say Thank You to our former residents and their families, our staff who finished out the 60 days with us, as well as their families for standing by in support of them and lastly the supporters from Teton County who showed us their support time after time. As of currently 7 of our staff have found new employment, 3 have retired, while the rest continue to contemplate their new beginning. Good luck to all in your new endeavors and Thank You for being a part of the TNH Family.

The open house was a success. We would like to take this time to say thank you to those who came out in support of our facility and staff. Thank you to the county members, volunteers and families for supporting us all through the years. The last two months have proved to be trying and emotional for our staff, residents and families and we wish you all nothing but the best.

May 20th at 2 p.m. there will be an open house at TNH to Thank all of the staff, families, and community members that have supported us through out the years. Cake and snacks will be served. Come on in and visit!

Today the weather is a bit gloomy. Unfortunately, today no matter how hard we try, that is also the feelings of our staff and residents. A few weeks ago our first resident moved, and now on this day we will bid farewell to 3 more. There is no way we can possibly express enough, how much we love and will miss our residents and their families. They have all become part of our hearts and family to us all. With this move we wish you all comfort and happiness.

Many have already heard our news, but now it is our turn to announce it. It is with sad and heavy heart that we announce the closing of our facility Teton Nursing Home. It was voted on and decided by the commisioners of Teton County on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 that this was necessary. Benefis Health Systems has offered to absorb any residents from our facility that may wish to go to theirs. They also stated they would "absorb and or lease the TNH staff." The logistics of staffing will be further discussed at a later date. At this time we are working very hard to continue day to day operation as normally as we can and wish to make the transition for our residents as easy as possible. We would like to take this time to Thank all who have supported us through the years, especially as of late. Our official closing date is May 25th, 2016. Please feel free to stop in and say hello to our staff and or residents any time.
