Originally from Mamou (Pine Point, to be exact), Brian now lives near Washington, LA, with his wife Charlotte. Combined, they have five grown children.

Brian has 30+ years of extensive knowledge of healthcare accounting, having lived in Atlanta, New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

He is a Fellow of The Advisory Group Leadership Academy in Washington, DC and has Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and History from LSU.

In his off time, Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on old vehicles, and together with his wife, they love going to LSU football games.

Born and raised in Mamou, Louisiana, she now resides in Church Point. Allison is recently married to Tori Venable, also from Church Point.

Allison is an LPN and looking forward to celebrating her 1-year nursing anniversary in December. She is currently enrolled in college and working towards achieving her registered nursing degree.

In her time off, Allison enjoys spending time outdoors, and her newfound hobby is traveling. Her favorite destination is Jamaica.

Acadia St. Landry Hospital is pleased to announce our new Director of Nursing, Garrett Higginbotham, RN!

A lifelong resident of Church Point, Garrett graduated from South Louisiana Community College, where he obtained his Associate of Nursing Degree and Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Degree. He has 7-years of experience in healthcare with a focus in emergency care.

Garrett began his healthcare career here at ASLH and brings excellent clinical, organizational, and managerial skills to the hospital, as well as a kind heart and a friendly nature.

Congratulations, Garrett! We look forward to a continued long and rewarding relationship!
