I grew up in a large family of 11 people. I didn’t even have a bedroom as a kid. I slept in the living room. Growing up, I read a lot of books written by Roald Dahl. I identified with a lot of his characters who felt like “misfits.” They went on all types of adventures, trying to find their place in the world. I wished for the day that I would be able to have my own adventure and write my own story.
My adventure was to become a Family Medicine physician who took care of all types of people, including the “misfits.” That journey brought me to Cincinnati, Ohio where there are a bunch of doctors like me.
My advice to everyone: the world is a big place. Dream about your next adventure, make a plan, and go!
You never know what you may find. I found a whole new life, not far from where I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. I’m currently writing a books of stories about some of my adventures ❤️
