"Me and my wife are so grateful for our baby girl that just gets our heart full of love everyday. On February 6 of 2025 we did the transfer and I couldn’t wait to find out if it worked or not and a year later here we are, baby Mía just turned 4 months. We are so happy and grateful with IRH for helping make this dream come true. For the moms and dads out there that are still working on that dream don’t give up, and if your are just starting the journey you got this my wife and I wish you the best and all luck 🍀 in the world. "After years of trying to grow our family, my husband and I turned to medical experts for answers.

That journey led to a stage four endometriosis diagnosis. Despite laparoscopic surgery, medicated cycles and an IUI, becoming parents still felt painfully out of reach.

Our OBGYN recommended IRH, and under the guidance of Dr. Scheiber, we began our first round of IVF.

From weekly commutes to Louisville to learning an entirely new language of medical terms and diagnoses, each step brought its own challenges — and constant reminders of how fortunate we were to be supported by an exceptional team.

Throughout the process, we had the privilege of working with nearly every doctor at IRH and were continually struck by their expertise and compassion. We are especially grateful to Dr. Burwinkel, who performed our retrieval, and Dr. Michael Awadalla, who completed our transfer.

Today, we get to look into the big blue eyes and squeeze the chubby cheeks of our one (and only) frozen embryo — our miracle, Daphne Ruth. We wouldn’t have the family we’ve always dreamed of without IRH.

"We came to IRH from the Louisville KY area to start our family despite our advanced ages and infertility diagnosis. The entire staff was wonderful to work with throughout the process. We were blessed with our son in 2022 and daughter in 2025, both frozen embryo babies. Our children are the greatest joy and blessings in our lives. Thank you IRH."

"We are the Pimental Family. After 4 years of trying to get pregnant on our own and through medicated cycles, we were referred to Bethesda Fertility in 2021 (which merged with IRH in 2024). During the midst of our journey, we became foster parents and fostered four littles. During that fourth year, we had three failed IUIs. We then turned to IVF. We got pregnant with our daughter in May 2022. She will be three in January and was our first transfer. In 2024 we decided to try for baby number two with IRH. After two miscarriages, we got pregnant with our double rainbow baby in September 2024. He just turned 6 months. We cannot thank you enough for the two blessings we never thought we would have. Our children are our world. We are forever grateful!"

"It had been 4 years of trying and had completed 5 rounds of IUI at another office. We were extremely fustrated and decided to get a second opinion. We found IRH and met with Dr. Schieber who was absolutely amazing! He gave us 4 options and we ultimately went with IVF. Our 1st transfer ended with a miscarriage and all of the doctors were so amazing in that moment with us and made sure we didn't blame/beat up ourselves. When we were ready for transfer 2, they took extra precaution with our medicine schedule and appointment making me feel at ease as best as I could be! When they told us we were pregnant again we didn't believe them. The office was so excited and it refreshed us, giving us hope. Without them we would not be holding our early christmas present! 5.5 years since we said "let's have a baby," we now have our rainbow baby Charlie ❤ Thank you so much to the IRH team, what you do means the absolute world to us. You made our dreams come true, thank you!"
