Congratulations, we look forward to working together! Let's make some miracles! 🧡

During National Infertility Awareness Week, we are so proud to introduce our newest Parental Hope Grant Recipients. 🧡

Behind each of these faces is a story of strength, resilience, and a journey that hasn’t been easy. Infertility affects 1 in 6, and too many people walk this path feeling alone.

Because of this incredible community now they don’t have to. Your support is giving these individuals and couples something so powerful…a real chance at parenthood.

✨We look forward to introducing you to each of them in the coming weeks.✨

Drop a 🧡 below to show them some support.

Infertility is one story, one path, or one experience.

It’s more than statistics.
More than stereotypes.
More than a narrow definition of what family building looks like.

🌸 National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) 🌸
This week, we join the nationwide movement to shine a light on infertility and embrace this year’s theme, More Than. Infertility is more than a diagnosis, more than a single story, and more than what others may see on the surface. It is a deeply personal journey that looks different for every individual, every family, and every path to parenthood.

At the Institute for Reproductive Health, we want our patients to know: you are more than your journey, and you are never alone. We see you beyond the challenges, beyond the timelines, and beyond the uncertainty. Every story matters, and we are honored to support you with compassion, respect, and unwavering care every step of the way.

To celebrate and support our amazing community, we have special activities planned throughout the week in our offices:
✨ Monday – Positivity Board. Stop by our lobby and participate in our Take One, Make One board. Take a message that reminds you that you are more than today’s challenges, and leave one behind to uplift someone else.
🍍 Tuesday – Pineapple Day. Wear your pineapple apparel or accessories. The pineapple is a symbol of strength, hope, and community, reminding us that you are more than this journey and part of something bigger.
🧡 Wednesday – Wear Orange. Show your support by wearing orange for NIAW. Share your photos and help spread awareness using as we remind others that infertility is more than what people see.
💛 Thursday – Encouragement Bracelets. Patients will receive bracelets with uplifting messages that serve as a reminder that you are more than your struggles and that hope is always present.
🎁 Friday – Raffle Winner Announced. We will announce the winner of our self-care basket raffle, celebrating the idea that caring for yourself is more than a moment. It is an important part of the journey.
🌿 All Week Long- Patients seen in any of our clinics can enter to win a self-care basket. Entry locations are available at our Rookwood, Bethesda, and Louisville offices because your care is about more than treatment. It is about supporting the whole person.

Together, we can raise awareness, foster connection, and remind one another that support is always within reach. 💕

A message from RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association CEO, Danielle Melfi.

Not everyone feels comfortable sharing their infertility journey publicly. And this week of all weeks, we want you to know that is completely okay. National Infertility Awareness Week® can bring up a lot. is for you whether you are vocal, private, or somewhere in the middle.

Show up however feels right for you. Share your story if you are ready. Follow along if you are not. Join a support group, or simply know that one exists when you need it. Every way of showing up counts.

Because this movement is the loudest voices in the room. It is all of us, showing up in whatever way we can.

"We started trying to grow our family during the summer of 2023. After months of trying on our own, my OBGYN started me on fertility medication. We tried multiple cycles of two different medications, but nothing seemed to work. That’s when we decided to seek help from fertility experts at the Institute for Reproductive Health in Cincinnati.

I often struggled with not ovulating regularly. We both went through a lot of testing and nothing else significant was found….Our doctor called it unexplained infertility. He also said that I had signs of PCOS. After months of more medications and shots, the PCOS improved, and I was finally able to start ovulating on my own, but we still weren’t getting pregnant. We did four rounds of IUI and still no luck. Our next step was IVF.
In March of 2025, I had my egg retrieval procedure. They were able to retrieve 7 of my eggs. After the fertilization process, we had 3 growing embryos. That same week after my egg retrieval, we did a fresh embryo transfer, which resulted in a chemical pregnancy.

In June 2025, we decided to use our 2nd embryo and did a frozen embryo transfer. Two weeks later we had an amazingly high HCG level. At 6.5 weeks we had an ultrasound where we got to hear and see the heartbeat for the first time!!! That was the most magical moment!

In March 2026, we finally had our miracle in our arms. We can’t thank IRH enough for making our dreams come true. They were so helpful and thorough throughout the entire process. Without them, we wouldn’t be holding our baby today."
🫶🏻 Thank you for sharing your inspiring story Holmes family!

"After a miscarriage and 5 years of failed attempts, we were finally blessed with our amazing miracle baby. It couldn’t have been possible without Dr.A and the amazing team at IRH. We are forever grateful for your clinic. From the doctors to the receptionists, they made us feel like family and supported us through all the ups and downs. Thank you IRH. To the families out there trying to conceive, don’t give up."
Thank you for sharing your story, Kelsey!

Not every joke lands the same.
Behind the scenes, many are navigating infertility or pregnancy loss, often quietly.
This April Fool’s Day, remember that pregnancy announcements can carry real weight. 1 in 6 people experience infertility and 1 in 4 have endured pregnancy loss.
Choose kindness. Choose empathy.💙
