Happy Wednesday! I saw this 60-year-old patient of mine today, only three months out from an extended , deep , , lateral temporal , and . She is thrilled with her results, as am I. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to care for her.
I think she looks so much more naturally youthful, with the changes fitting into the natural contours of her face.
For example, her upper eyelids and brows have significant, though beautiful and youthful, volume. Every individual’s eyelids and brows differ, dictating a tailored approach with different expectations for results. She now has an appropriate show of her upper eyelids and her brows and temples have been reset up and back, closer to where they were when she was younger. As a result, her eyes simply look more open. This is in contrast with efforts to over lift the central eyebrows and remove a lot fat from the upper eyelids, which can make people look surprised and hollow.
Also, her lip lift helps shift the focus of her face up towards her cheeks by reducing the distance between her nose and red lip. She also has some increase in the height of her red upper lip while preserving its natural contours and slope.
