🍻 BOCKFEST RECAP: A Weekend of Goats, Games & Gemütlichkeit
From sunrise TV hits to Sunday’s last gemütlich hug, Those German Guys took Cincinnati on a full‑throttle Bockfest ride.
📺 Early Morning TV Takeover
We kicked things off before the sun even bothered to clock in — live on FOX9 morning TV, bleating, lifting, and hyping the city for the wild weekend ahead. Cincinnati woke up to lederhosen, steins, and goat noises. As it should.
🏛️ Moerlein Lager House → Cincinnati Lager House
History in real time. The big announcement dropped: Greg Hardman's Moerlein Lager House officially becomes the Cincinnati Lager House — and we were right there in the middle of it, raising a toast to the next chapter of Cincinnati beer culture.
🐐 Bockfest Parade Chaos (The Good Kind)
The streets were packed, the goats were loud, the crowd was louder, and the vibes were peak Cincinnati weird. Those German Guys marched, danced, waved, and probably confused a few tourists. Perfect.
🎤 Cry Baby Goat Calling
Friday night delivered pure, glorious nonsense. People bleated their hearts out. Judges laughed. Goats (probably) judged us all. A tradition unlike any other.
🍺 Saturday Brewers Games
The Brewers Games brought the heat — beer‑themed challenges, and enough friendly competition to power the streetcar for a week. Cincinnati showed up ready to play.
💪 Official USSA Bockfest Steinholding Championship
Arms shook. Crowds roared. Champions were crowned. This was the big one — the official USSA Bockfest showdown — and the competitors brought everything they had. A massive step with an automatic place on the stage of the state of Ohio Steinholding Championship and the on the road to the USSA National Championship stage.
👨👩👧👦 Continental Sunday
We wrapped the weekend with a warm, family‑forward Sunday full of music, dancing, culture, and community. Kids, grandparents, first‑timers, old‑timers — everyone came together to close out Bockfest with heart.
🎉 What a Weekend
Goats. Games. Champions. Community. And Those German Guys were right in the middle of it all — exactly where we belong. Prost!
