Last Wednesday on wear blue Ohio day the Mayerson Center was proud to recognize and celebrate our MDT partners during our annual community partner luncheon. We would like to congratulate our partners from West
Chester Police, Clermont County Sheriff, Brown County Sheriff, Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services that were presented with awards for their outstanding service for our patients and families. 💙

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

The Clermont County Board of Commissioners has proclaimed April 2025 as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Last year, there were 84,524 reports of child abuse and neglect in Ohio, with 1,332 cases reported in Clermont County alone.

This month serves as a reminder that protecting children is a responsibility we all share. By listening to children, reporting concerns, becoming foster parents, or simply spreading awareness, we can help create a safer community.

On April 4, wear blue to show your support for child abuse prevention efforts. Together, we can make a difference.

Dorothy Meier, Director of Clermont County Department of Job and Family Services, accepted the proclamation on behalf of the department.

Today staff from the Mayerson Center and our partners from Clermont County Children’s Service, Clermont County Sheriff and Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office gathered to plant pinwheels in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month!

We are so grateful to have amazing partners in the community that have the dedication to combat child abuse and neglect and keep children safe.

Today was a beautiful day to be at the ballpark and we were so happy that so many people stopped by our table today during the block party! Our pinwheel display will be at Smale park through April 13 so if you are in the area be sure to check it out. 💙💙

The Pinwheel for Prevention Ceremony kicks off April's Child Abuse Prevention month. Our display can be found at the corner of Mehring Way and Joe Nuxhall Way through April 12th.
We'd like to thank our partners for their continued support in protecting the children we serve in the community. Together we can make a difference and change the outcome.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to our toy donation! Your kindness and generosity will bring joy to many children that are seen at our center. We would like to recognize Steven & Lyndsey Yost for their continued support and donation this season.

The holiday season of giving is upon us again! We have gotten settled in our new space and are humbly asking for help to fill our new toy cabinets that kids can pick from after being seen at the center. Any donation is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
