Children and families across Greater Cincinnati are struggling to get the behavioral health care they need — right now.

For kids like Nico, school is hard. He was often sent home, needed help managing big feelings from past trauma, and his mom, Cassandra, didn’t know where to turn.

Then she found Beech Acres.

Cassandra enrolled Nico at Dater Montessori, one of 25 schools where Beech Acres offers in-house behavioral health services. With help from the Beech Acres Beyond the Classroom team, Nico learned how to manage his emotions. He stayed in class, kept learning, and began to thrive.

We had a wonderful time at the Price Hill Historical Society & Museum attending a special conversation inspired by the novel, Cincinnati's General Protestant Orphan Home, Beech Acres Parenting Center.
