The Winter Paralympic Games kick off on Friday!

Thirty-one Team USA athletes will compete across six winter sports: para alpine skiing, para cross-country skiing, para ice hockey, para biathlon, para snowboarding, and wheelchair curling.

Opening Ceremony coverage begins at 2 p.m. EST on Friday. You can tune in on NBC or stream the ceremony and all the action on Peacock.

Para cheer is an inclusive and competitive sport that adapts traditional cheerleading for athletes with disabilities. It combines elements of stunting, tumbling, dance, and cheer, but is designed with accessibility in mind to ensure that athletes of all abilities can participate, perform and compete.

Today is National Caregivers Day. Did you know that:

// 41.8 million Americans, or 17% of the population, provide unpaid care for an adult over the age of 50.
// 89% of caregivers provide care for a relative or loved one.
// The average caregiver is 50 years old.
// Caregivers spend 24 hours a week helping those who don’t live in their home. For those that do live with those who need assistance, they spend 38-45 hours a week performing caregiving activities.

Training sessions start March 2 and are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 - 8 p.m. at The Motz Group, 1 Motz Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244.
