The Dancing with the Stars finale is tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC!

Our today is footage of three-time Paralympic medalist Amy Purdy during her time on Dancing with the Stars Season 18. At the age of 19, she developed a severe form of bacterial meningitis which led to a double BK amputation. With the help of prosthetic feet, she came in second place in the competition.

November is National Diabetes Month. The 2025 National Diabetes Awareness Month theme is empowerment through education. The theme aims to inspire individuals to take control of their health and learn more about diabetes management. Eating right, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, and developing healthy ways to cope with stress can all help with diabetes prevention and reduce the risk of a diabetes-related amputation.

We have big news and need your help!

So Every BODY Can Move Ohio has announced that House Bill 564 has been introduced to the Ohio House of Representatives this week! This bill would require state-regulated commercial insurance plans to cover activity-specific prosthetic and orthotic devices for people of all ages, including coverage of the purchase, fitting, adjustment, repair, and replacement of one or more prosthetic devices.

This bill would be life changing for over 250,000 Ohioans living with limb loss and limb difference. This bill is now in the hands of the House Insurance Committee; it has to be passed by the state house and state senate before it can be signed into law by the governor.
