We were proud to have Ben Welter, CP/L, represent R.J. Rosenberg Orthopedic Lab last week during an educational lecture on upper limb prosthetics for occupational therapy students at the University of Cincinnati.
Ben shared a wide variety of prosthetic samples, including microprocessor, myoelectric, body-powered, and passive devices, covering levels from partial hand to shoulder disarticulation. A special thank you to our patient David B., who helped bring the presentation to life by demonstrating his above-elbow prosthesis.
We value every opportunity to connect with future therapists and highlight the collaborative work of the rehab team. Together with occupational therapists, we help patients gain function, confidence, and independence with their prostheses.
