🎶 What a fun evening at Bayley! On Thursday, our very own resident Fred Erdman performed with his band, Foley Road. Residents and guests enjoyed a great night of live music, singing along, and wonderful company. We love celebrating the talents within our community, and Fred truly made it a night to remember! 🎤✨

Last night at Bayley at Green Township, we were transported straight to the Strip for an unforgettable Viva Las Vegas show with the incredibly talented Mike Davis! 🎤✨

Residents and guests had an amazing time singing along and enjoying Mike’s spot-on impressions of legendary performers including Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Wayne Newton, Neil Diamond, Johnny Mathis, and Tom Jones.

The energy in the room was incredible as everyone clapped, laughed, and sang along to some of their favorite classics. Thank you, Mike, for bringing the spirit of Las Vegas right here to our community! 🎶♠️💃

Today we celebrated a very special member of the Bayley family—our Volunteer Coordinator, Kim Shibinski, as she begins her well-deserved retirement. 🎉

For the past five years, Kim has been an incredible part of the Bayley community, dedicating her time, heart, and energy to supporting our volunteers and enriching the lives of our residents. Her kindness, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact across our campus.

Of course, Kim’s beloved golden retriever, Sully, has also become a cherished member of our community. Together, Kim and Sully have brought so much peace, comfort, and calm to residents, volunteers, and staff simply through their presence. 🐾💛

While they will be greatly missed at Bayley, we are excited for Kim and Sully as they embark on their new adventure in North Carolina.

We are also excited to announce that Kaleigh will be stepping into the role of Volunteer Coordinator. We look forward to the continued growth of our volunteer program under her leadership.

Thank you, Kim, for everything you have given to the Bayley family—we wish you nothing but happiness in this next chapter! 🌟

Our Assisted Living residents had another wonderful time gathering together for one of their favorite pastimes — BINGO! 🎉 From the shuffle of cards to the excitement of each number called, Mary, one of our activities helpers, keeps the room energized and full of anticipation.

We love engaging our residents with games that spark excitement, encourage participation, and bring everyone together around the table. There’s nothing better than hearing someone call out “Bingo!” and seeing those big smiles all around.

The Bayley Wellness Center’s Tai Chi class rang in the Chinese New Year with movement, mindfulness, and a joyful celebration! 🧧🐉

We were honored to welcome Master Trainer Becky Rahe from Toledo, who guided participants through special Tai Chi methods and movements to mark the occasion. After sharpening their skills, everyone gathered to enjoy delicious food and festive fellowship.

A special thank you to Barb Hefner and Hal Schwettman, Bayley’s dedicated Tai Chi instructors, for all they do — and for thoughtfully organizing this annual tradition each year. Your commitment keeps our wellness community strong, balanced, and thriving! ✨

If you’ve visited Bayley’s campus, chances are you’ve met our four-legged friend, Sully 🐾💛

Sully, our remarkable volunteer dog, is a Golden Retriever with the sweetest spirit. Alongside his owner, Kim Shibinski—our dedicated Volunteer Coordinator—Sully makes his rounds visiting residents, offering comfort not only to those who call Bayley home, but also to our volunteers and team members. With his calm, gentle, and sincere nature, he has a special way of brightening even the quietest days.

Animals play such an important role in the lives of older adults. Time spent with a therapy dog like Sully can help reduce stress, ease feelings of loneliness, encourage social interaction, and even lower blood pressure. A simple visit, a soft nuzzle, or a warm paw can bring reassurance and joy in ways words sometimes cannot.

We are so grateful for the comfort, smiles, and steady companionship Sully brings to our Bayley family every day. 🐶✨
