💋 The Beauty of Progressive Filler

One of the most important principles in aesthetic treatments is progressive work — gradually building up your filler over time rather than doing everything at once. This approach helps achieve natural, balanced, and tailored results while minimizing swelling or unevenness.

Take a look at this example:

First photo: Healed results after 2 syringes — soft, natural, and beautifully blended.

Second photo: Immediately after 1 syringe — you can see the subtle enhancement and how the lips are starting to take shape. At this stage, our client’s M-shaped upper lip is still slightly visible.

Third photo: Immediately after the second syringe — full, luscious volume and the M shape is completely resolved, giving her a smooth, symmetrical lip line.

Why we work progressively:

- Allows us to assess how your lips respond to the first syringe.

- Reduces the risk of overfilling or creating an unnatural look.

- Gives your tissues time to settle before adding more product.

Helps you find your perfect volume at a comfortable pace.

💡 Many clients start with ½ or 1 syringe and return in 2–3 weeks for a touch-up or additional volume, ensuring precision and safety while achieving the desired outcome. If you're wanting to add another syringe, often we will push that out another 4-6 weeks to allow your lips to heal from the first syringe. This also decreases chances of the dreaded migration of filler.

We’re so excited to share that A Touch of Energy Aesthetics is now officially operating under one roof! 💚 Our west side location has closed, and our full team is now together in one space — creating a seamless, connected experience for your self-care and wellness journey.

✨ A few important updates to note:

Mondays: By appointment only

- If there are no appointments scheduled by Sunday evening, the spa will be closed Monday.

- Issha (Massage Therapist) and Andi (Injector & Acupuncturist) are available 1pm–7pm every Monday, so be sure to get your appointment scheduled ahead of time.

🕰 Our remaining hours stay the same:

- Tuesday–Thursday: 10am–7pm

- Friday: 9am–4pm

- Saturday: 9am–2pm

💋 Setting Realistic Expectations for Lip Enhancement

One of the most important parts of any lip treatment is setting appropriate expectations. Often, clients come in with inspirational photos of someone else’s lips — but it’s important to remember that everyone’s anatomy is unique, and what works for one person may not be achievable in exactly the same way for another.

Being transparent about what we can and cannot do is key. This includes discussing:

- Your natural anatomy and how it affects the outcome

- The amount of product we’ll use

- Which techniques are best for your goals

- Realistic results for a natural, balanced look

In the example shown here, our client wanted more show of her top lip and more pronounced lower lip tubercles. We were able to enhance these areas while still keeping her lips natural and harmonious with her features. The results are subtle yet addressed her concerns beautifully — a perfect example of customized, realistic lip enhancement.
