๐งโโ๏ธ You decide to check out this โyoga thing.โ
๐งโโ๏ธ You find a class and buy a mat.
๐งโโ๏ธ You canโt touch your toes.
๐งโโ๏ธ You sweat more than you anticipated.
๐งโโ๏ธ You donโt like downward facing dog but love triangle.
๐งโโ๏ธ You discover that you have never really paid much attention to your breath.
๐งโโ๏ธ You find a friend in class and take the front row with them.
๐งโโ๏ธ You feel happy when your teacher learns your name.
๐งโโ๏ธ You sleep a full eight hours, which is not your norm.
๐งโโ๏ธ You get frustrated because your toes are still so far away!
๐งโโ๏ธ You notice yourself saying no to anything that gets in the way of your class.
๐งโโ๏ธ You do a triangle in your kitchen in jeans.
๐งโโ๏ธ You tell a friend about how you feel in savasana.
๐งโโ๏ธ You get mad when you overstretch your hamstrings trying too hard to reach for those toes!
๐งโโ๏ธ You pick up a yoga magazine at the grocery store.
๐งโโ๏ธ You start to notice how you feel inside when you eat.
๐งโโ๏ธ You wish you could do a backbend better, so you ask for help after class.
๐งโโ๏ธ You decide to add another class to your week.
๐งโโ๏ธ You invite your best friend to the free class at the park.
๐งโโ๏ธ You get sick and miss the practice and the yoga community that has formed around you.
๐งโโ๏ธ You try turning yourself upside down after class.
๐งโโ๏ธ You try crane pose at home and do a face plant in front of your dog.
๐งโโ๏ธ You wonder where all this yoga came from.
๐งโโ๏ธ You start questioning why you do things in your life.
๐งโโ๏ธ You become more careful with your time.
๐งโโ๏ธ You decide to use a block in your forward bends to avoid frustration.
๐งโโ๏ธ You set a goal to not complain for an entire day.
๐งโโ๏ธ You buy a better mat and your own yoga blanket to practice at home.
๐งโโ๏ธ You notice that your lower back has not hurt in months.
๐งโโ๏ธ You get a nice assist in class from a teacher trainee.
๐งโโ๏ธ You decide you are addicted to this โyoga thingโ and you continue on for monthsโฆyour body feels great, you are sleeping and eating better, and you are able to do lots of poses without too much effort.
Now whatโ๏ธ
๐งโโ๏ธ You decide to dig deeper.
๐งโโ๏ธ You take a leap and go to an open house about deepening your practice, not sure why.
๐งโโ๏ธ You start the training and meet one weekend a month for a year.
๐งโโ๏ธ You become connected to a group of like-minded yogis searching for more on the mat.
๐งโโ๏ธ You study and practice and question everything.
๐งโโ๏ธ You learn more about how the body moves and how to avoid injuries.
๐งโโ๏ธ You enjoy the reading about yoga philosophy and understand yogaโs roots.
๐งโโ๏ธ You continue on this journeyโฆnot quite sure where it will take you.
๐งโโ๏ธ You realize that the poses are just the start of this practice.
๐งโโ๏ธ You fall in love with meditation.
๐งโโ๏ธ You continue onโฆ
