The Prospect House

Prospect House is a residential treatment and recovery center for alcoholic and chemically dependent men who are without the money, insurance or other resources to enter hospital-based programs. Prospect House furnishes the necessities of life to these men while they actively seek a new way of life marked by sobriety and self-support. We are on Hawthorne Avenue in Price Hill (Cincinnati, OH). During our 39+ years, more than 6,200 men have been served. Before a man is accepted by the Prospect House he must agree to at least a 90-day residential stay. Based on the House's experience, 90 days is the minimum it takes to achieve some sort of sobriety and to start making the changes which will lead to maintaining sobriety in the years ahead. On average residents live at Prospect House for nearly six months.
