The staff in the SW Ohio/NKY territory is made up of Jaime Brown and Perry Hall, with our ED housed in Cleveland.
What makes this unique is that both Jaime & Perry are kidney patients but represent different aspects of CKD. Jaime was diagnosed with lupus nephritis at the age of 17, whereas Perry's kidney issues started as a toddler, with a kidney infection and a med that crystalized in her ureter causing a blockage.
Jaime currently has stable kidney function by managing her flares with a strict diet and immunosuppressive medication. Perry, on the other hand, made it to 30yrs old before starting dialysis and is now a 2x kidney recipient.
