✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

Next up- Sydney!

Born and raised on the west side, she’s basically been part of our office her whole life—literally! Her mom worked here while she was growing up and after elementary school she’d walk right over. She’s ~officially~ been with us for 6 years, starting out at the front desk before finding her way back to the lab. On top of her lab work, she also runs the social media (yes.. even this post 😂).

She LOVES being in the lab, working with her hands, creating appliances and retainers, and helping bring smiles to life behind the scenes.🦷 As a graduate of NKU with a degree in Studio Art, she puts her creativity to work every single day.

When she’s not in the office, she’s soaking up life as a new mom, spending quality time with her husband and sweet baby girl.🩷 In her free time, you can find her listening to T. Swift🎵, relaxing with a good book📚 or crocheting🧶! She puts her crochet talents to good use as a ‘Crafter Volunteer’; hand-making hats for NICU and nursery babies.

We’re so lucky to have her! 💫

Remember Ava? Our very first intern who completed the summer internship/scholarship?

She is currently a second year on the Pre-Dentistry track at the University of Kentucky. 😸💙 Outside of her classes, she also works for Mission Health Lexington, which is a volunteer dental clinic providing free, compassionate healthcare to those in need. At Mission Health Lexington, Ava helps assist dental students and runs sterilization (one of her job duties she also had while completing our internship)! 🦷

Fun Fact: Dr. Haverkos also worked at Mission Health Lexington as a dental student!😁

This scholarship creates real impact, opening doors and opportunities.

Guess who's back, back again??🎊

You may have noticed that our tiny, furriest team member has been out of office the last few months. After a quick surgery on both knees and a less than speedy recovery, we are happy to report- MILLIE IS BACK and better than ever! 😁🐶

We know she has missed our patients just as much as they have missed her. Make sure to give her all the extra love at your next appointment!🧡

✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

Say hello to the heart of our front desk: Sue! 💛

In true lifelong westsider fashion, she’s been the friendly face behind our front desk since she was 19, or for 38 years (yes… you can do the math 😉🤯). Chances are, if you’ve called or walked in, you’ve had a positive interaction with her!

When she’s not in the office, she loves being with her ever-growing family! Her husband, 5 kids, and 6 grandkids (3 of which were just added in 2025!). While a busy body at heart, if you do ever find her relaxing, you’ll find her tackling puzzles🧩, doing Sudoku, or making her yard look beautiful around the pool🌸—although you won’t catch her IN the pool 😄.

She also has a huge heart for giving back! Since 2010 she spends a lot of her free time running Sissy’s Pantry through her church: providing free food, toiletries, furniture, and clothing to those in need.

We’re so grateful for her dedication, kindness, and decades of making everyone feel welcome; our office wouldn’t be the same without her! 💙
