Grief often comes with questions we did not know to ask.
In this short video, families share five gentle insights they often wish they had known sooner after a loss.
A reminder to slow down, accept help, and be kind to yourself.

The winter and holiday months can be especially overwhelming when a loved one passes. In moments like these, grief is often accompanied by uncertainty...What do I do first? Who should I call? What happens next?

At Arlington Memorial Gardens, we want you to know that you don’t have to navigate those first hours alone. That’s why we’ve created the second short video in our series, “If a Loved One Passes.”

This video gently walks through the first important steps to take if a death occurs during the winter or holiday season, offering calm guidance at a time when everything may feel overwhelming. Our hope is that this information brings a sense of clarity, reassurance, and peace - right when it’s needed most.

If you or someone you love is facing a loss, we invite you to watch this brief video and save it for when it may be needed. And if you know someone who could benefit from this information, please consider sharing it with them.

As we move through this holy and meaningful season, all of us at Arlington Memorial Gardens wish you a blessed Christmas Eve and a peaceful Christmas Day.

May your holiday be filled with comfort, quiet moments of reflection, and hope that carries you into the new year. Please know that you are always in our thoughts, and it is our honor to walk alongside this community during every season of life.

On December 20, Arlington Memorial Gardens welcomed more than 200 members of our community to our annual Christmas Remembrance Service inside the Lakeside Chapel.

Led by Father Larry Yanca, families gathered to hear the names of their loved ones spoken aloud and to light Remembrance Candles in their honor. These simple yet sacred moments created space for reflection, connection, and comfort during the Christmas season.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us to remember, honor, and hold close those who are forever in our hearts.

The holidays are meant to be joyful, but for many, this season can feel heavy, lonely, or overwhelming—especially when you’re grieving or missing someone you love.

At Arlington Memorial Gardens, we walk alongside families every day who are carrying that weight, and we want you to know this: you’re not alone.

Today, we’re sharing Part One of our video series, “When the Holidays Are Hard.” In this short message, we gently acknowledge the reality of holiday grief and offer reassurance, compassion, and permission to feel exactly what you’re feeling—without pressure to “be okay.”

If this season is difficult for you or someone you love, we invite you to take a few quiet moments to watch this short video. We hope it feels like a caring presence, reminding you that support is here when you need it.

🎉 Thank You, Cincinnati! 🎉
We are incredibly honored to share that Arlington Memorial Gardens has been named Cincinnati.com's Best of the Best Funeral Home & Crematory for 2025, which marks our fourth year in a row receiving this recognition.

It is not often that we pause to celebrate what we do because our work is centered on serving families during life’s most difficult moments. However, knowing that our community sees the care, compassion, and commitment behind every service truly gives us a reason to celebrate. Your support reminds us why this work matters so deeply.

Seeing our team together at the awards event was a meaningful moment, and we are grateful to serve a community that continually places its trust in us.

🎄 A Light-Up Sweater… and a Light-Bulb Moment! 😄✨
In this 2-minute holiday video, Dan and Lisa share a few laughs (yes, including that bright and beautiful Christmas sweater 🎁💡)… but they also remind us of something truly important:

Talking about your final wishes now can save your family stress, confusion, and worry later.

This video may be light-hearted, but the message is sincere:
Starting the conversation is a priceless gift.

👉 Take two minutes, enjoy a smile, and walk away with something meaningful to think about.
