We’re so grateful to Thomas More University for spending their SaintServ Day volunteering with us! Their team helped open our Wainscott Garden by working alongside students during Garden Club—cutting vines, pulling w**ds, refreshing mulch, cleaning the bird bath, and planting seeds. 🌱

Volunteers also added cardboard donated by Coca-Cola Consolidated and wood chips donated by Monster Tree Service of East Cincinnati for w**d control. In addition, the Thomas More team supported us by helping organize our Resource Center.

Thank you to Thomas More University and all of our partners for making a meaningful impact in our community! 💙

You’ll engage with families through activities like face painting, arts and crafts, and games such as corn hole and Connect 4. With over 100 attendees in the past two years, volunteers are essential for helping with food service, manning games, and assisting with crafts. Family Night is an evening of fun and laughter for everyone, even our volunteers!

In this role, you will work with each family to develop a care plan, including transition plan and crisis plan. Plus, you will get the chance to work with a diverse group of individuals and make a positive impact on their lives. As a Care Coordinator, you will also conduct regular assessments using the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) model, develop crisis safety plans, and create/update family-centered care plans. We are a private, nonprofit organization and a leading provider of education and mental health treatment for children facing significant social, behavioral and learning challenges. Since 1864, The Children's Home of Cincinnati has provided services and programs that transform the lives of children and their families. We are funded through a combination of program fees, government and granted funds, donations, and investment revenue. Last year, our services and programs impacted the lives of more than 10,500 children and their families.
