Sunday kicks off our first Pilates class at the studio with .kirby!!
I’ve had some questions so I decided to make a quick post to answer the FAQ’s
1) Is this beginner friendly?
-YES! Paige is starting with the basics and slowly building from there. This is the PERFECT class to learn the foundations and techniques for proper alignment to get the best results.
2) What do I need to bring?
-Bring a mat, water and open mind! (We do have a few extra mats if you need to borrow one)
3) Can I bring my own weights?
Yes! While the class is body weight focused, if you want to bring ankle weights, bands, hand weights to step up your workout, feel free but again this is NOT necessary!
4) Is it Hot Pilates?
-No. Or I should say, not yet. We are starting with normal temp classes but may eventually move to heated/hot down the road.
5) What should I wear?/ Are shoes allowed?
-Wear any workout attire that you can move freely in and feel comfortable. (Just like yoga)
-Shoes are not allowed to maintain studio cleanliness but you can wear Pilates/yoga socks if you want.
6) Can I drop in?
-No, these are prepay only so you must register through the website.
