Nervous about your first visit (initial evaluation)? Here’s a glimpse of what an initial evaluation entails.

At the initial evaluation, Physical Therapists will not only ask questions about your current status/reason for seeking PT, but about your previous medical history, occupation, hobbies, and personal goals as well In order to design a treatment plan best fit for you! Depending on your diagnosis, special tests to determine strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, function or injury may be performed. Most likely, a handful of activities/exercises will be initiated too so make sure to wear something easy to move around in!

Here’s a great guide, provided by ChoosePT.com, with great examples of questions to have in mind and ask your Physical Therapist.

Let’s team up and help get you back to your normal daily routines AND things you love!

Circleville Physical Therapy is having a food drive to help support our comminuty!

We all know a fueled body moves and functions better than a hungry body! We are collecting non perishable food items at Circleville PT now through the end of October.

As a thank you for your donation, you will receive one ticket per item donated for a chance to win our “PT Survival Kit”. Drawing for the raffle will take place Monday, November 3rd.

Donations gathered at our office will be given to the Community Cupboards of Pickaway County at the end of the collection period. They have 24 outdoor self serve pantries around Circleville and surrounding areas in Pickaway county. “Leave what you can, take what you need.” is their motto.
