We love celebrating our incredible youth leaders in Pickaway County!💚

Lilly, one of our amazing Youth Ambassadors and a dedicated member of our Roots of Change (ROC) team, recently represented PAAC at a Rotary meeting. She was one of the students invited from Westfall and delivered an outstanding two-minute talk highlighting CADCA and her involvement with ROC.

Lilly’s leadership, passion, and commitment to prevention are exactly what Roots of Change is all about—youth leading the way to a healthier, stronger community.

Please join us in celebrating Lilly and all of our ROC youth who are making a difference every single day! 👏

We are incredibly proud of our PAAC Youth Ambassadors from Roots of Change who represented our community at Ohio Youth Advocacy Day in Columbus earlier this week👏

They spent the day at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and the Ohio Statehouse learning about the legislative process, building leadership skills, and using their voices to advocate for youth across our state.

Our ambassadors had the opportunity to meet with the assistant to Michele Reynolds and share their perspectives on prevention, mental health, and creating healthier communities for young people. Their courage, professionalism, and passion truly made an impact.

Please join us in celebrating these amazing young leaders who are stepping up, speaking out, and shaping the future of Ohio💚

Healthy relationships don’t just happen — they’re learned, practiced, and supported.💚

The CDC’s HeaRT (Healthy Relationship Training) from VetoViolence is a free, interactive tool designed to help educators, youth leaders, and communities teach young people how to build safe, respectful relationships and prevent teen dating violence before it starts. It covers key topics like communication, boundaries, and recognizing warning signs so we can create safer environments for all youth.

By investing in prevention and education, we can empower the next generation with the skills they need to form healthy connections and reduce violence in our communities.

A while back, our ROC Ambassadors sat down and wrote thank you notes to the high school teachers in their lives.

💚Teachers who saw something in them before they could see it in themselves.

💚Teachers who showed patience, compassion, and kindness in moments that mattered more than anyone realized.

💚Teachers who helped plant seeds of hope that are still growing today.

On National Random Acts of Kindness Day, we’re reminded that those small acts — a word of encouragement, a little extra grace, someone simply showing up and caring — can stay with a person forever.

If someone has made a difference in your life, take a moment to reach out. Even long after the moment has passed, gratitude still has the power to heal, connect, and inspire.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re sending love to every individual and family on the journey of recovery.💚

We believe love is powerful—love for ourselves, for our families, and for our community. Recovery is built on connection, compassion, and hope, and no one should have to walk that path alone.

Today, let’s take a moment to:
• Check in on a friend or loved one
• Celebrate progress—big or small
• Offer kindness without judgment
• Remember that every life is valuable and worthy of healing

If you or someone you love is struggling, help is here. Together, we can create a community rooted in support, understanding, and second chances.💚
