Back to ๐ school ๐ means ๐ sports ๐ are back in action. When sports are back in action we see sore muscles, injuries, exhaustion, etc.
Iโm not just talking about football!
Your athlete can benefit from regular massages to help them through their season!
Iโve worked with football ๐ players, cheerleaders ๐ฃ , volleyball ๐ players, ropers, and track runners ๐ of all different ages!
How Does Massage Help?
1. Recovery โ Therapeutic massage ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ helps the body recover from exercise with improved blood and lymph circulation, muscle relaxation, and general relaxation. This leads to the removal of waste products and better cell nutrition.
2. Over-training โ It is important to allow the body to recover adequately between workouts to avoid injury, irritability, insomnia, or an increase resting heart โฅ๏ธ rate. Therapeutic massage facilitates general relaxation to give your body time to rest. ๐ด
3. Trouble Spots โ Most people have their own specific trouble spots, perhaps from past injuries or overuse. Massage therapists can focus on these areas and keep symptoms at bay.
Starting September 15th Iโll stay open after school every other Monday until 7pm for athletes and teachers!
