Patients may receive hospice care in a variety of locations, including their home, or a contracted health care facility. Our team of physicians, nurses, social workers, hospice aides, spiritual care services, volunteers and bereavement coordinator are available around the clock to provide the best quality of care. Our staff is focused on comfort care, control of pain, and symptom management for the patient, while providing support to the patient’s family and caregivers through the assistance of ancillary team members. We thrive to provide life changing services during one of the most important journeys in our life cycle.

A hospice chaplain provides spiritual and emotional support to patients and families during hospice care. Their role is to offer comfort, compassion, and a listening ear during one of life’s most difficult transitions.

Hospice chaplains support people of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds even those who do not identify with a religion.

They help by:
• Offering spiritual guidance and prayer if requested
• Providing emotional support and a safe space to talk
• Helping patients reflect on their life and legacy
• Supporting families through grief and difficult emotions
• Assisting with cultural or spiritual end-of-life traditions
