Uh oh!!! Guess who didn’t take data during the teaching session l, today?!
It was me!!
Data is important, it’s the evidence the intervention is working and tracks the progress. However, how am I going to take data on a skill I haven’t even taught yet?
My kids need explicit instruction in language- I am guiding them through the language development. Therapy isn’t testing your, it’s teaching time.
Take the time to explore and learn.. then take the data.. did it work? What do you need to change?

They love doing work on the “tv”.. it’s like it’s extra screen time for them!
All I do is save a pdf to my iPad, mirror it and write on the iPad!
For added engagement I provide manipulatives like Reading rods, mini erasers, small white board, stamps and more!
