At Dorizata Massage, our work is rooted in care on and off the table. We believe access to care, dignity, and safety should never depend on where someone was born, how they speak, or the papers they carry.
We exist to support wellbeing in our community. That means showing up for our clients, especially in moments of stress, fear, and uncertainty.
Massage is not a luxury for many, it is a necessary tool for managing pain, trauma, and mental health. For that reason, we will remain open and honor all appointments currently scheduled.
At the same time, we are deeply concerned by recent federal actions and the growing use of enforcement practices that raise serious constitutional and human rights questions. History reminds us that when fear becomes policy and surveillance becomes normalized, freedom erodes for everyone—not just for the most vulnerable.
On Friday, 20% of all session proceeds will be donated to the Portland Immigrants Rights Coalition, a local organization supporting immigrant families through legal services and community based services.
This is our way of standing in solidarity while continuing to provide care to those who need it.
We believe community care and civic engagement are not opposing forces, they strengthen each other. We encourage our clients and neighbors to stay informed, speak up, and take care of one another.
With care and solidarity,
Dorizata Massage
